Interview with a top seller: Pedro Teixeira

A couple of days ago I had a lovely interview with Pedro Teixeira who is living on a little Portugese island called Madeira. Pedro sells the Handson Node.js e-book on Tinypay. His e-book has been a trending item several times, its being bought by people from all over the world and is doing very well in terms of sales. His book also receives many positive responses from buyers. We believe it’s a perfect example of how you can earn well on a regular basis by offering a digital file for download!

The Next Web Hackathon Was #%@#$!!

I heard, read and seen them but I’ve never personally been to a hackathon before. I just came back from my first one and it blew my mind what a bunch of talented people can create in just 48 hours!

The hackathon was organized by The Next Web Amsterdam as a brand new element in their event. Basically they provided (web) companies the opportunity to sponsor the hackathon which allowed them to present the API in front of a group of ‘hackers’ (developers).
